Marvel may not be showing up in San Diego Comic-Con this year, but Lucasfilm and Disney aren't missing out on the opportunity to bring Star Wars: The Force Awakens to the event! I didn't expect Star Wars to be in this year's Comic-Con, especially with Disney's D23 Expo taking place the following month.
Starwars.com announced that The Force Awakens will have its own panel on Friday, July 10, in Hall H. Producer Kathleen Kennedy, director J.J. Abrams, and screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan are expected to show up with a group of "special guests", and I'm sure a lot of you are hoping that Harrison Ford would show up this time since he wasn't able to make it at Star Wars Celebration last April.
On top of the Hall H panel, Disney and Lucasfilm will also host other Star Wars-releated events that fans might want to check out. And those include a 40th anniversary panel for special effects house ILM, and Hasbro's in-depth look at the popular Star Wars toy line.
There's no word yet on what they will feature in The Force Awakens panel, but I hope they'll reveal another teaser trailer for the fans. Stay tuned here in Epicstream.com for updates about SDCC 2015 and Like our Star Wars fan page on Facebook for the latest updates on Star Wars.
