What if the Battle of Endor was a real part of our history? We'd probably learn more about the experiences of those who supported the heroes to victory.
Machinima has launched a new web miseries that recounts and compelling stories iconic fictional battles in film, TV, and video games. It has ten episodes that are parodies of Ken Burns documentaries.
The first episode recalls the Battle of Endor from Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. "While Rebels and Ewoks fought hand-in-paw, the Millennium Falcon's mission was almost undone by two co-pilots who had no idea what Nien Numb was saying."
Each episode "delivers the never before seen tales of those who witnessed these defining fictional moments." A new episode will be released every Tuesday from today. The series is narrated by Phil Brown (Jackie Chiles from Seinfeld). Although I thought the idea of treating fictional events sounds intriguing, this "comedic" episode failed to make me laugh.
