Star Wars Rebels Series Creator Hints At The Next Series

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Star Wars Rebels' series finale.

Star Wars Rebels may have just come to an end but it looks like series creator Dave Filoni has a potential tease of what to expect in the next animated series in Lucasfilm's galaxy far, far away.

Though Filoni refused to give away too many details about what might happen now that Ahsoka and Sabine venture off to find Ezra, Rebels executive producer tells Entertainment Weekly that he does know whether there'll be more stories from the remaining Ghost Crew, though he can't really say anything yet.

"I've always felt the best stories end and then other stories begin, and there's no better way to take two of my favorite characters and have them ride off into the sunset, like I've seen so many cowboys over the years, or Indiana Jones,"Filoni said. "One thing ends and another begins, and the story continues. That's a saga."

Zeb's voice actor Steven Blum says he'd also like to see his character getting his own show, thanking Filoni for keeping the Lasat rebel alive at the end of the series.

"I got my man in the end. That was the greatest gift you've ever given me. We get our own show now, right? The Kallus and Zeb Adventures!" Blum suggests.

It sounds like the Star Wars animated future has a bright open future. We can't wait to see what Lucasfilm has in store for us.
