Star Wars Nominated for Six Kid's Choice Awards

The Nickelodean Kid's Choice Awards have been announced and Star Wars has been nominated for six categories, Making Star Warsreports. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was responsible for the majority of the nominations. However, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens was also nominated.

Rogue One was nominated for favorite movie, where its most fierce competition will likely be Captain America: Civil War. Last year, Star Wars: The Force Awakens won favorite movie.

Felicity Jones was nominated as favorite actress for her performance as Jyn in Rogue One. She also earned a nomination for "Favorite Butt-Kicker". Spencer Wilding was nominated as favorite villain for her performance as Darth Vader in Rogue One.


Felicity Jones, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, Riz Ahmed and Mads Mikkelsen collectively recieved the "#squad" nomination for their roles Rogue One, honoring their character's status as a tight-knit group. Finally, LEGO Star Wars won a nomination for favorite video game, though it's up against some pretty fierce competition like Pokemon Moon.
