LEGO Star Wars Miniland is looking at a new addition by way of the diorama depicting some scenes from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Now, the official Star Wars website gives a glimpse of what these new attractions look like, following the recent showcase of the new displays. For starters, what makes this new addition in the miniland even more alluring is the fact that there are six scenes taking place above or on Jakku. The entire collection has more than half a million LEGO bricks just to make up the scenes, as detailed below:
Kylo Ren disembarks at Tuanul village as Stormtroopers secure the village and Poe and BB-8 plan their escape
Rey rescues BB-8 from Teedo astride the Luggabeast
Poe and Finn's escape in a stolen TIE fighter from the Star Wars Destroyer Finalizer
Finn escaping the wreck of the crashed TIE fighter
Rey, Finn, and BB-8 are pursued by Stormtroopers through the streets of Niima Outpost
The Millennium Falcon is chased by First Order TIE fighters in the Starship Graveyard, which features a massive crashed Star Destroyer
One of the goals that the creators made sure of was that every single depicted ship in the park were as detailed and true to the source as possible. And that meant a lot of hours put into the project. Builder Matt Slagle said that the process had required over 4,000 hours of work, with the process taking an entire year and a half to pull off.
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens section is now open at Legoland California.
