Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Gameplay Trailer Reveals Surprising Mission Involving Rogue One Character

The official gameplay demo for Respawn Entertainment and EA's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is finally here and it reveals some truly surprising things about what Cal Kestis is up to in the game. Interestingly, there is an awesome cameo from a character who has shown up in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as well as a shocking mission.

In the demo, it is revealed that Cal Kestis has been called upon by a young Saw Gerrera before he turned into a grumpy old man in Rogue One. At first, Cal is bemused that there is an "Imperial sap refinery" and wonders what the Empire could possibly want with tree sap. However, Saw reveals that the sap is being refined into "a powerful compound."

As it turns out, there's another reason why Saw wants Cal in the refinery. It is revealed that there is a prison camp inside the refinery where Wookiees are being forced to work for the Empire. Saw provides Cal with a map so he could find the prisons holding the Wookiees and free them. "We'll need their help to stop the Empire," Saw says.

The gameplay demo is truly amazing as Cal takes on several Stormtroopers with his lightsaber as well as the Force. However, that isn't the only fearsome opponent Cal has to face in the game.

The description for Jedi: Fallen Order reads as follows:

"The Empire won't stop until every Jedi is purged from the galaxy. As a young Padawan on the run, the odds are against you—but the Force is with you. Discover the Jedi abilities you must master to survive."

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 15.
