Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Reportedly Delayed

A previous report regarding Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 game suggested that the highly-anticipated sequel will be arriving this year, but it looks like these reports are not accurate, or no longer accurate. The new Star Wars game hasn’t been revealed yet, but this should change when May 4 comes.

When it does, don’t get your hopes up to hear about a holiday 2022 release date as the previous rumors suggested. According to a recent report about the upcoming game, the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 game will not be released until 2023. For now, the exact release date is not yet specified.

The new report comes from Jeff Grubb, a well-known insider and leaker who has a mostly reliable track record. In the past, Grubb’s reports have been wrong, especially about the release windows. One example was when he was off the mark with Starfield.

However, more often than not, his information is good. If this game will be released in 2023 and not this year, it will probably be released in the first half of the year. If it were ever released on Holiday 2023, it would be a very large delay.

For now, you should take everything with a grain of salt. It hasn’t been a long time since people are saying that the game is set to be released in 2022, and now it’s apparently being released in 2023.

It is possible that both of these reports were true, but as of now, there hasn’t been an official release announcement for the game.

According to Jeff Grub’s report, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is going to be a current-gen only release. In other words, in addition to it being released in PC, it is only coming to Xbox Series X|S and PS5, skipping the Xbox One and PS4 in the process.
