Star Wars Gets Its First Casual Puzzle Gaming App

EA Dice's Star Wars Battlefront II isn't the only Star Wars vide game to look out for. Gamers are getting their very first casual Star Wars puzzle game for mobile devices on Google Play.

Titled Star Wars: Puzzle Droid, fans get to go on a match-3 droid adventure through BB-8's memory bank for a retelling of Star Wars: The Force Awakens through the eyes of the cutesy droid. According to the the game's description on Google Play, the app also features the untold stories and scenes from the Star Wars saga movie.

Here's what gamers can do in Puzzle Droid:

- UNLOCK memories to experience iconic moments and previously untold stories through the eyes of your favorite Star Wars droids
-MATCH-3 to create combos, clear obstacles, and face-off against enemies in over 50 levels
-UNLEASH epic power-ups to help you clear the board and complete your goals
-EXPLORE a galaxy far, far away! Journey across Jakku and escape the First Order alongside BB-8
-COMPLETE missions and collect memory discs to unlock the most heroic memories to continue your adventure

While it may seem like an app somewhat similar to Candy Crush, fans would definitely appreciate this beautifully illustrated Star Wars app. Forget Candy Crush SodaPuzzle Droid would probably let gamers use a bit of the Force, and where else can we get that?

The game is already open for pre-registration. Fans can try the game out at Star Wars Celebration Orlando which will be held from April 13-16.
