Star Wars Force Friday Event Date Leaked

Though a lot of discussion about Star Wars: the Last Jedi has emerged after Lucasfilm revealed that the eighth Star Wars saga film installment's official title, so little has been revealed about the Force Awakens sequel.

While recent reports indicate that the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi would come out during this year's Star Wars Celebrationm there's still no word on when exactly would the event come out. What we do have however, is a lead to the film's Force Friday - an event that brings in new toys for the film, and a few possible spoilers.

A new tip from Star Wars News Net reveals when exactly would Lucasfilm start bringing in the film's first wave of toys in the Star Wars: The Last Jedi's Force Friday. Like the previous year's Force Fridays, this year's big Star Wars toy event will reportedly come on September 1. This is a very close date to the franchise's other events, Rogue One's Star Wars Force Friday was held on September 30, and The Force Awakens' event was held on September 5.

Though the date still has to be confirmed by Lucasfilm, it seems like a pretty likely schedule for this year's Force Friday. New toys and possible new leaks (sometimes toys go ahead of the film by releasing names and characters and whatnot) could come out of the event, so let's keep our eyes peeled for the official Force Friday confirmation from Lucasfilm.
