The Star Wars Show announced that Star Wars: Episode VIII director/writer Rian Johnson and Han Solo: A Star Wars Story directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord will be attending Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016, which will take place in ExCel London Exhibition Center on July 15-17.
The three filmmakers will join Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, SVP of Development Kiri Hart, an Story Grouop's Pablo Hidalgo for an "informal conversation" about the future of Star Wars movies at the Futue Filmmakers Panel on Sunday, July 17. "You may just be lucky enough to catch a glimpse at what the future of the Star Wars galaxy holds," said host Peter Townley. Maybe they'll finally announce the official titles for both films at that time.
A lot of exciting stars are already confirmed to appear, including Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Dave Filoni, who will debut the first two episodes of Star Wars Rebels Season 3; Warwick Davis, who will host the convention; and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and Rogue One director Gareth Edwards, who are both attending a Rogue One panel.
There will also be exciting events that fans can look forward to, such as the debut of Star Wars virtual reality game, Trials on Tatooine, new Star Wars video games, a pin trading program, a podcast stage lineup, and exclusive Funko Pop! Vinyl Collectible Figures.
