Two new Star Wars films are currently in production: Star Wars Episode VIII and Rogue One, and fans are excited to see new footage from both films, and it seems that we might be close to seeing them. Some reports that have surfaced about a Licensing Expo currently happening in Las Vegas, Nevada. Collider's Steven Weintraub said on Twitter that footage from both Episode VIII and Rouge One were shown to attendees of the expo:
Could we see new footage in this year's Star Wars Celebration Europe? While we'e surely getting a new Rogue One trailer at Star Wars Celebration, there's a good chance that Episode VIII will be presented at the convention as well. Perhaps they'll show a teaser and reveal the title for Episode VIII at the event.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters on Dec. 16, 2016; Star Wars: Episode VIII will be released on Dec. 15, 2017.
Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 will take place from July 15 to 17.
