Carrie Fisher's death by the end of 2016 marked a massive loss for the Star Wars community, and Star Wars Celebration has come up with a video tribute to remember Fisher's legacy.
The footage contains old behind-the-scenes clips from Fisher during the production of the original trilogy, as well as some footage from her on the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens as well as The Last Jedi.
There are also some very touching tributes from her co-stars like Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Oscar Issacs. We also get some statements from Star Wars creator George Lucas as well as Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams.
I think that Fisher is a brilliant person, and besides her role of Leia, she has proven herself as a prolific writer and script doctor. Sure she may be best remembered for her role as the Princess from Alderaan, but at least everyone now acknowledges just how great she was outside of the franchise as well.
Carrie Fisher returns post-mortem in Star Wars: The Last Jedi which comes out on Dec. 15.
