Star Wars: Bloodline Posters Focus on Leia's Past

Star Wars: Bloodline, an upcoming Star Wars novel set in-between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, focuses on Leia Organa, and the shifting role she finds herself playing after the Rebel Alliance's victory and key moments that will define who she is in The Force Awakens.

IGN has released four posters for the novel, which will be given to fans at C2E2 and other upcoming conventions. The posters show variations of one another. We see an in-universe campaign image of Leia and then the other posters show how her image has been defaced in different ways.

Author Claudia Gray told USAToday that family is a major theme in Bloodline, and that for the daughter of Darth Vader, "In this book, we find out just how far Vader's shadow falls."

Bloodline will be released on May 3.
