Disney's tour guide Amy Pham took Star Wars' fan-favorite droid BB-8 to NASA's JPL, where they're developing robots that would help humans explore foreign planets. They toured the labs and met robots of various sizes such as King Louie, an orangutan-like robot created for dexterity. It could even drive a vehicle, go through doors, and all the things necessary so they could go into a disaster scenario and help save humans. And we also get a glimpse of a smaller insect-like robot called D.R.O.P. (The Durable Reconnaisance and Observation Platform). Watch the cool robots and BB-8 in this video:
