This Wednesday will see the arrival of the Clone Commando Update for Star Wars Battlefront II, and with it will see the arrival of new Capital Supremacy map Felucia. Just in, EA Star Wars has dropped the official community transmission for the next update, and it gives us our first look at Felucia in-game.
The Clone Commando deploys on the vibrant surface of Felucia in Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II on September 25. Also, fight alone or with friends against AI foes in the Instant Action and Co-Op game modes, available in this update.
While other maps have falling hazards and the like, Felucia will have its own environmental hazards in the form of poisonous mushroom spores. The map is also said to contain a Sarlacc pit, but we don't get a glimpse of it here in the trailer. It's also unclear if players could fall into it should they come near.
A lot of people are also suspecting that the local wild Acklay would be present in the game, but we see nothing from the trailers. Seeing as they are one of the more memorable parts of the Felucia map from the original Battlefront II game, I'm suspecting they will come to play in the teased Halloween event that is expected for October. Would be a waste to have a Felucia map just for Capital Supremacy, but that's just my opinion.
