If you got a chance to play the Star Wars Battlefront beta, you know that DICE's sci-fi shooter game will let you play as Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader, which are unlockable characters for "Hero" and Villain" specials in certain modes. Electronic Arts also previously revealed that Boba Fett, and now, they've announced three more playable characters added to the line-up: Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Emperor Palpatine!

Leia Organa is a support character who could buff her allies and hold positions. When Leia is active and a player respawns, they'll also get a boost, spawning as Alderaan Honor Guards, so when she's activated, the whole team of Rebels gets stronger. She's also wielding an upgraded blaster that could take out Stormtroopers more rapidly. One signature move is a boosted shot called Trooper Bane, which is a one-shot kill to Stormtroopers and will stun Villain characters. Another is the Enhanced Squad Shield, which could stop not just blaster bolts, but even some Force abilities. Supply Drop rounds her out, which could drop powerups and health boosts.

The announcement described Han Solo as a "gunslinger mainly designed for lone wolves." He's the Rebel trooper with stronger attacks, so if you're already used to playing as a member of the Alliance, he'll be easy for you to master. His three special abilities include Lucky Shot, which is a charge attack that works awesome against any enemy: Infantry, Villains, or vehicles; Rapid Fire, which will let the player do quick shots (as fast as you can pull the trigger) with no overheating; Finally, the Shoulder Charge lets Han slam into action, as seen in A New Hope.

Emperor Palpatine is the third villain character, after Boba Fett and Darth Vader. He has the signature Force Lightning, a devastating area effect attack; Chain Lightning, an upgrade that extends its reach; Force Dash, an extremely fast move so he could reach the group of Rebels quickly. He also has a support ability like Leia's called Imperial Resources, which does something similar but for the Empire.

Star Wars: Battlefront hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC November 17, 2015.
