Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away Now Casts Rey as Regular


Rey has broken through Star Wars fans' radars when she appeared as yet another intriguing hero to the franchise.

However, for the most part, Rey has only been seen in the movie, Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, and some games and merchandises. To add to the places and events that fans can see the heroine, Disney has confirmed via the Disney Parks Blog that she will now become a cast regular in the series Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Following a hiatus of the show itself, Rey will now be seen during the show's presentations, which is marked to return to its regular programming of a series of daily show times at the park's Center Stage area.

Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away showcases the different iconic moments from the Star Wars movies. Its cast includes those from the different trilogies like Chewbacca and Darth Vader, and will now include Rey.

"‘Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away' celebrates our love of all things Star Wars with unforgettable memories from the entire galactic saga. Now, Rey has officially joined the lineup, appearing on stage alongside lovable Resistance droid BB-8 and clenching a lightsaber in her outstretched arm, just as she did at the conclusion of Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

For those who are planning to go the park soon, you may also want to check out the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular nighttime show. This has also been updated with new sequences pertaining to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

There's certainly a lot happening to Star Wars as a franchise. This will certainly continue to grow, especially with Star Wars: The Last Jedi just round the bend.
