Star Trek's Alice Eve Joins The Cast Of Iron Fist 2

It seems that everything has been going down for Marvel Netflix since the release of Iron Fist, but that doesn't mean that the studio is close to pulling any of the shows. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist are prepping for their second seasons, and Star Trek actress Alice Eve is joining the cast of Iron Fist 2.

Marvel TV's Jeph Loeb had this to say (via Variety) about Eve joining the cast:

"We are very excited to have an actress of Alice's stature join the cast of Marvel's Iron Fist. Her exceptional talent brings an intrigue and danger to her character unlike anyone else."

Details of Eve's character have still not been revealed, but seeing as she is a high-profile actress, she could probably just be onboard for one season. I have a feeling she's either going to be the new villain, or she'll be a new love interest for Danny Rand. Let's just hope that she can match wits (and fists) with Colleen Wing.

We still don't know where Iron Fist is going for the second season, but with a new showrunner in the form of Raven Metzner (Sleepy Hollow), we could be looking at something more exciting. Previous showrunner Scott Buck moved over to work on Inhumans. The reception of Iron Fist and Inhumans kind of gives us an idea on Buck's skill as an EP.

No release date has been announced for Iron Fist 2 but you can check out the first season on Netflix now.
