Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan will return to theaters on September for its 35th Anniversary of its release in 1982. For those of you who haven't experienced it on the big screen, this is the perfect chance for you as Fathom Events is bringing limited showings for the Nicholas Meyer director's cut starring the original Star Trek crew and Ricardo Montalban as the genetic superhuman Khan from the 1967 episode of the Star Trek TV series.

If you ask a group of Trekkers what their most favorite Star Trek feature film is, the majority will most likely pick Star Trek II.

The limited screenings will be on September 10 and 13 and will start with an exclusive introduction from William Shatner (Captain Kirk). Here's what Shatner said in a statement:

"MakingStar Trek IIseems like only yesterday. Even back then, we knew we were creating something really special, and to haveThe Wrath of Khanback on the big screen 35 years later is a wonderful testament both to the film itself and to the incredible passion of Star Trek fans."
