Star Trek: Discovery is set to discover new worlds when the series premieres next month, and the latest promo clip promises that it will "boldly go" where it has never gone before.
The clip, shared on Discovery's official Instagram page, shows several of the show's core characters such as Captain Philippa Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh), Captain Gabriel Lorca (Jason Isaacs), T'Kuvma (Chris Obi), Ambassador Sarek (James Frain), Lieutenant Saru (Doug Jones), and First Officer Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green).
You can hear Martin-Green's voiceover of her crew's mission statement that Star Trek fans should be familiar of.
"As we stand at the edge of an unknown universe, we know our greatest challenges lie before us, that our future is not bound by fear and that our mission is not to conquer, but to discover. That is our destiny, a destiny written in the stars. So, we boldly go where we have never gone before."

Set 10 years prior to the five-year mission of the Enterprise in Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: Discovery follows the adventures of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new lifeforms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself. The series will feature a new ship, new characters, and new missions while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.
Star Trek: Discovery is set to premiere on CBS on September 24.
