Star Trek Beyond Clip Features Thrilling Space Action and More of Jaylah

Star Trek Beyond is coming in a few weeks and the hype train has already started to go on a roll. Paramount Pictures has released the newest trailer, and it’s gearing fans up for another round of action on the USS Enterprise.

Seen in the video below, the USS Enterprise crew is up against one of its toughest enemies yet. And this time, it’s an up close and personal threat and attack.

For starters, the big bad Krall has Captain Kirk (played by Chris Pine) up against the wall of the ship. It doesn’t help that the video is titled Big Attack. You know it’s a far bigger fleet when an entire armada of spaceships are out to get you. There’s also a glimpse of Sofia Boutella’s Jaylah, another new and what looks to be more sinister threat to Captain Kirk and the crew.

Of course, this is not the only explosive trailer released for Star Trek Beyond. A previous trailer has already shown the USS Enterprise getting destroyed. Some of the crew also find themselves stranded in a foreign place with no ship to maneuver and attack back.

Synopsis: 

After stopping off at Starbase Earhart, a remote outpost on the fringes of Federation space, the USS Enterprise, halfway into their five-year mission, is destroyed by a powerful, unstoppable wave of unknown aliens. With the crew stranded on a unknown planet and with no apparent means of rescue, they find themselves in conflict with a new ruthless enemy who has a well-earned hatred of the Federation and what it stands for.

Star Trek Beyond stars Chris Pine and Captain Kirk, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Zachary Quinto, Sofia Boutella, and Karl Urban. The film is directed by Justin Lin, and is written by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung.
