Square Enix Teases and Accidentally Leaks Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Square Enix is currently teasing a new Tomb Raider game, with the official website stating that it would officially be revealed on March 15 at 6 am PDT. Thanks to a new film and two acclaimed games, the first being a reboot of the franchise, it seems like there's no better time to be a fan of Lara Croft.

Unfortunately for Square Enix, those that have inspected the website's HTML were able to get the announcement early. That announcement is a new game called Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which will be out on September 14 of this year.

Revealed by Kotaku, this will supposedly be the finale of Lara's origins, which is interesting, to say the least. It's a bit odd how the first game was called Tomb Raider and the second one was called Rise of the Tomb Raider since it should probably be the other way around. Still, both games were good so this one will hopefully be just as fun.

With only a day or two left, expect the announcement to go as planned. If the HTML is correct, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be coming out on September 14.
