Spider-Man: Homecoming TV Spot Has Spidey Doing Some Local Hero Work

The MTV Music Awards saw a final trailer for Wonder Woman as well as two new looks at July's upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming. We know that a majority of the film will have Peter Parker trying to earn his place with the Avengers, and with the new TV Spot, we see him trying to do some local hero work as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

We get some usual clips that we've seen from previous trailers, but we also get a new scene where Spidey stops a bike thief, and a fun bit where Spider-Man runs into two young girls camping out. There's also more to the scene where he stops the ATM robbers dressed like the Avengers.

After the second trailer gave the entire plot of the movie away, I'm kind of weary when it comes to watching more Spider-Man: Homecoming trailers because I still want to be surprised with the movie. Seriously though, did we really need to see Tony Stark save the day during the boat scene and take away Spidey's suit? Might as well just publish the full script for the movie, Sony!

Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine -- distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear.

Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters July 7.
