SoulCalibur VI Rumoured To Feature The Witcher's Geralt

CD Projekt Red has no plans of releasing a new Witcher game anytime soon since they're busy developing Cyberpunk 2077, but that doesn't mean we won't see Geralt of Rivia appear in a video game anytime soon. Earlier today, it was being reported that The Witcher's protagonist will be featured as a guest character in the upcoming Soul Calibur VI.

CD Projekt Red's community lead Marcin Momot recently tweeted that Geralt will appear in another game but didn't reveal the title of that game.

In a report byPlay Video Games,Joe Parlock claims in his report that sources have reached to LVPG with the information about Geralt's appearance in Soul Calibur VI.

"A few weeks ago," Parlock wrote, "anonymous sources contacted LPVG with this information. However, while we have vetted the sources to be legitimate, acquiring the further evidence required for publication proved difficult. Until today, that is."

In the report, Parlock also pointed out how CD Projekt Red and Bandai Namco have collaborated in the past. Bandai Namco was in charge of distribution for The Witcher 3 in Western Europe, New Zealand, and Australia, so it's likely that they're teaming up again for Soul Calibur VI.

It would be cool to see everyone's favorite witch slayer in my favorite fighting game franchise. We'll have to wait for an official confirmation but the report and tweet are good signs that he will indeed show up as a Soul Calibur VI fighter.
