Sony’s Venom Will Feature Three Alien Symbiotes

It has been rumored before that Sony's Venom spinoff will feature multiple symbiotes, but a rumor suggests that we'll be getting a total of three in the film.

According to Manabyte, the three symbiotes are: the one that bonds with Eddie Brock, another one that the main villain will use, and a third one that supposedly kills the first person it comes in contact with. It seems like a plausible number for the film, and hopefully Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have already taught Sony their lesson when it comes to having too many villains.

There has also been a rumor going around that the movie will only feature the full Venom suit toward the end, with the rest of the movie just having the symbiote appear as black veins on Eddie Brock's body. After the lack of Venom in the first teaser, news about the film only having minutes of the Venom suit are starting to upset fans.

Of course these are all just rumors for now. Hopefully Sony will know better about using their Marvel characters in the future. If anything, Marvel Studios can just take charge of the characters again if this Venom film turns out to be a flop.

Venom is slated to come out Oct. 5.
