Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Final Trailer and Poster Drops Ahead of April Premiere

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is almost here and we now have the final trailer for the highly anticipated sequel. In addition to that, a new poster has been dropped and it features more of Tails!

The Sonic the Hedgehog 2 final trailer opens with a beautiful wedding in Hawaii which is promptly interrupted by Tom Wachowski's phone ringing. Not surprisingly, it's Sonic and he's claiming that it's a life and death situation. Sonic begs Tom to throw the ring so they could escape a snowy avalanche and since we now know what does rings do, that leads to the avalanche being diverted into the wedding.

When it is revealed that Tails had been with Sonic the whole time, the bride, who is Tom's wife's sister, comments that there are two of them now. But that's not the worst of it. Sonic confirms that Robotnik is back and he has a new ally who will stop at nothing to get to the hedgehog.

The trailer pretty much spoils everything about Sonic the Hedgehog 2 including Robotnik's discovery of a powerful emerald that can destroy humanity. Can Sonic and his friends stop them in time to save the world?

In addition to the trailer, a new poster for the sequel has been dropped and it pays tribute to the game. Check it out below.
