Solo: A Star Wars Story Villain Enfys Nest is a Woman; Could Return in Future Films

One of the more noticeable figures in the Solo: A Star Wars Story teaser is an armored character covered in furs, and merchandising has revealed that the character's name is Enfys Nest. Some more merch has reveals more about Enfys, and we find out that Nest is actually a woman.

Star Wars News Net has picked up this French merchandising description, and translated, it means:

"Enfys Nest, an extremely dangerous marauder, has quickly forged an infamous reputation for herself and her gang of pirates – the Cloud Riders."

The site also had this news to share:

"Enfys Nest is a female. It is not a big role, but it is important. She (the actress) worked closely with Woody Harrelson. She is signed for two more movies, presumably Solo sequels."

Fans of Star Wars Legends will also be psyched to know that the Cloud Riders are actually an old space biker gang from the comics. Tough Enfys may not have been part of the gang then, it's still a fun nod to the now-defunct Expanded Universe.

With Captain Phasma being marketed as a female badass, fans are hopeful that Enfys and her gang will actually be useful for once. Based on some brief clips in the trailer, it looks like Han and the gang will have to team up with Enfys and her pirates to do Beckett's elaborate train heist.

I don't even know if I'm going to love Solo, but I am looking forward to seinge more of Young Han Solo's adventures down the line. Maybe Enfys can even spinoff and team-up with Boba Fett in another anthology film?

Catch Solo: A Star Wars Story in theaters May 25.
