Solo A Star Wars Story: Ron Howard Shares Video from Last Day of Scoring

With Solo: A Star Wars Story set to come out in May, Ron Howard and composer John Powell are finally finishing up their work on the score of the movie. Howard, ever the social media sharer, has given us a look at the last day of scoring.

We don't know exactly what to expect from the score yet, but Star Wars music vet John Williams has said that he will be making a theme for Han Solo that Powell will be free to use in the film as he pleases. I don't know what Williams has in mind, but I have a feeling we'll be able to get hints of that score for Han when we watch his scenes in the original trilogy.

Besides John Williams, the only other composer who has worked for music on a Star Wars movie is Michael Giacchino, so we'll have something to look forward to when it comes to Powell's take on Williams musical themes. I thought Giacchino was able to capture the tones very well for Rogue One, and I'm curious what kind of music we'll be getting for Solo.

Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out May 25.
