Smite Announces Avatar Battle Pass with Aang, Zuko, and Korra

With the ever growing popularity of Avatar: The Last Airbender, fans are left wondering when they'll actually get a good video game out of the franchise. While we don't know when we're ever going to get an Avatar game, Smite has gone ahead and teased that fan favorites Zuko, Aang, and Korra will be playable next month.

While not too expounded on in the trailer, it looks like these characters from Avatar wills serve as some kind of ‘enhanced' skin for existing heroes; Aang for Merlin, Zuko for Susano, and Korra for Skadi. They're even changing the power effects to match that of the characters' specific elements.

Then again, this is just me guessing from the trailer. Hopefully Smite will release some official details soon. And here fans thought Cthulhu arriving to the game would be the biggest announcement this week.

While I'm sure fans would want more Avatar characters to come to the game, I think this is as good as it gets for now. Personally, I just want an actual Avatar game, but until a studio picks up that title, Smite will be players' best chance to play Aang and do some bending action.
