Smash Bros. Ultimate: Solid Snake's Voice Actor Hates The Character's Flattened Butt

When all of the characters from previous games were announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans were hyped. From old-favorites like Mario and Link to third-party characters such as Sonic and Mega Man, it was easy to see why everyone is going to buy this game when it comes out later this year.

Unfortunately for Metal Gear Solid fans, something happened to Solid Snake during the game's development. While the character still plays well, the developers decided to flatten his butt and make it less detailed, angering fans around the world. One of those fans is Snake's iconic voice actor David Hayter, who haytes (hehe) the decision.

On Twitter, when Gaming Humor and News questioned why Snake's lack of posterior definition was important, Hayter replied that it was very important and started a #freesnakesbutt hashtag. Admittedly, there is a long way to go before the fighter comes out so we could see Snake's butt get more defined before release.

This isn't the only major change made to Snake. All characters in the game have a logo next to their name in order to make them stand out more. Snake used to have the Foxhound logo but since it's a big part of Hideo Kojima's identity, it was changed to an exclamation point instead. Kojima and Konami are still not on good terms.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate comes out on December 7.
