Skyrim Grandma Takes a Break From YouTube Because of 'Stressful Comments'

Skyrim Grandma is one of the most well-known Elder Scrolls streamers around, with many loving how chill a lot of her gameplay sessions are. The YouTuber is so well-liked that the folks at Bethesda are actually going to add her as a character in The Elder Scrolls VI, which is really cool. Unfortunately, it looks like Skyrim Grandma, also known as Sherley Curry, will be taking a break from YouTube due to health concerns and some "stressful comments."

Apparently, despite the fact that Sherley has been playing Skyrim for years, she still gets corrected by a number of annoying comments. She will start deleting comments that are stressful and annoying since the YouTuber doesn't want to reply to them anymore. It's really unfortunate since people know her for playing this game in a relaxing, roleplaying manner. Simply put, if you don't like how she plays the game, just watch something else.

While I wouldn't call it cyberbullying, this is, unfortunately, a trend that a lot of gamers on YouTube have to face. It's just frustrating that other people tell her how to play, even though she has been doing this for a good while now. Frankly, making content on the internet can be some of the most frustrating work out there so here's hoping all of the best for Skyrim Grandma.

She really doesn't deserve some of the hate on YouTube comments, though the content creator does get a lot of positive support as well. It's a shame that she doesn't enjoy recording as much as she used to so here's hoping some of that rest gives her time to forget all the negativity.
