Shazam Plays With Light Up Costume In Fun New Image

Warner Brothers is getting ready for this year's San Diego Comic-Con International, and while the studio's been busy working on the marketing campaign for its upcoming Aquaman standalone movie, it hasn't forgotten next year's Shazam!

Last week, Entertainment Weekly gave fans their very first look at Zachary Levi's Captain Marvel. This week the publication has a new look from the upcoming superhero movie showing Levi having fun with the light-up feature of his rad costume.

In the picture, we get to see Freddy Freeman (Jack Dylan Grazer) finding out that Billy Batson (Asher Angel) has gained the mystical powers of Shazam. For those who haven't been following updates on Shazam!, the scene fits right with a description of Freddy calling him Billy's disabled best friend, "a superhero enthusiast," the very "only person who knows that he is Shazam!"

Check it out down here:

The photo is a whole lot of fun, and it looks like a great follow-up to the photo released last week showing Billy and Freddy getting cola all by themselves. Levi's got Shazam's child-like charm pretty much down pat and we can't to see Billy and Freddy get into more shenanigans in the upcoming Shazam!

Warner Brothers is expected to debut the first official Shazam! trailer at the 2018 SDCC this weekend. The film is set to premiere on April 5, 2019.
