SyFy's Sharknado franchise will continue to blast our screens as the network officially announced the title and release date for the upcoming B-movie disaster movie: Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, which is obviously inspired by Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The fourth Sharknado film takes place 5 years ago after Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! No Sharknados have been seen in those years, but now they reappearing in surprising ways.
Ian Zierling will reprise his role as Fin. Tara Reid will return to reveal the fate of her character, April, which was decided via fan vote after Sharknado 3 aired.
The rest of the cast includes includes David Hasselhoff, Ryan Newman, Gary Busey, Tommy Davidson, Imani Hakim, Cody Linley, Masiela Lusha and Cheryl Tiegs.
Sharknado: The 4th Awakens will premiere on Sunday, July 31 on SyFi channel at 8 p.m. ET.
