Shane Black’s ‘The Predator’ To Be Released Earlier

It looks like couples in 2018 can add an alien movie to their list of choices to watch during Valentine's weekend, as the release date of The Predator has been moved up from March 2, 2018 to February 9, 2018, according to Deadline.

It's not really surprising considering that movies released around Valentine's Day weekend have received massive successes. The most recent film to have conquered the box office this year was Deadpool.

The decision comes after an announcement from 20th Century Fox regarding the release of its movies including The Maze Runner: The Death Cure, and Morgan.

February is now considered another major unofficial release date for films, much like summer and fall since couples and fans are likely to go out and go to cinemas during Valentine's weekend.

This is exciting news for fans. Because of the competition that comes with the release of Shane Black's The Predator, it would appear that Fox is confident the movie will deliver gold, presumably both commercially and critically.
