Free Comic Book Day may still be quite a few months away. But already, Marvel has unveiled its planned offer, which it had already teased way back.
Secret Empire, the next big Marvel event that's been breaking some fans' minds following the big reveal, will have a Free Comic Book Day issue. Inside its pages will also be a preview of the Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man ongoing series.
According to Comicbook.com, this will follow in the footsteps of All-New Guardians of the Galaxy #1, which is also a Free Comic Book Day issue.
"Free Comic Book Day is one of the best opportunities available to bring in both new and lapsed fans. It's a chance to set up new stories and status quos, as well as show off new and exciting titles. With that in mind, we're thrilled to bring two additional original stories to Free Comic Book Day this year. Secret Empire and Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man are poised to be two of the year's biggest books, and we can't wait for fans to get a sneak peek at both."
Secret Empire has recently revealed just how great a threat deception and insane surprises can be. Nobody was expecting America's Golden Boy to be the best puppet Hydra has ever had inside the Avengers. It will be penned by Nick Spencer and drawn by Andrea Sorrentino.
For the sneak peek of Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood spider has gone back home to New York City, which also brings the comics back to its basic roots.
Read:Aquaman has been reimagined by Zack Snyder.
