Bucky Barnes might start making new friendships in Avengers: Infinity War but Sebastian Stan believes that the bond between Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Bucky Barnes is never really going to fade.

Though there's been a lot of anticipation over Captain American and the Winter Soldier's reunion in Infinity War, the Russo brothers have told fans that the interaction between Bucky and Steve won't last that long because of the impending battle between the Avengers and the Mad Titan Thanos.

While that might seem like a disappointment to those looking for some sort of dramatic scene between the two in Infinity War, Stan tells Hey You Guys that the bond shared by Buck and Steve's going to stand even after the fight for the universe.

"Well, you know, it's never gonna go away. That's history. Your past doesn't ever leave you. It's more what you learn to do with it," the actor told the news outlet on the red carpet of Infinity War's press event in London yesterday.

Bucky and Steve have had a pretty long and storied friendship in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's hard to imagine their bond breaking down in Infinity War and Avengers 4, thought it is possible that one or the other could become one of Thanos' victim in Marvel's two-part Avengers movie. We'll have just to cross our fingers and keep hoping that the two manage to live through the fight.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27.
