Scarlett Johansson Says There’s A Two To Three Year Gap Between Infinity War and Civil War

It looks like there's a two to three year gap between Avengers: Infinity War and Captain America:Civil War.

Though fans know for sure that some time passes between the third Captain America standalone movie and the first installment in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie, no one was certain about how many years stand between both films.

Now, Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson gives us the answer in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"When we last saw these characters in Civil War it's been probably 2 or 3 years that have passed, and our characters have been kind of part of some sort of counter-terrorism unit efforts but we're flying under the radar, and you know it's a lot I think when you are on these kinds of missions with no governmental support. You don't even have the support of just the general public, and you're sort of running rogue, trying to do what you know is best for the common man but you don't have someone to guide you or support you."

According to Johansson, fans are going to see a lot of change in Infinity War, saying that the Avengers have been "reintroduced to this whole expanded universe." Of course, given the events of Civil War and the films after it like Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther, fans can certainly expect a lot of changes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27. Black Panther is still screening in cinemas.
