Scarlet Witch Star Knows She Could Have Beaten Thanos In Avengers: Endgame

Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) may have been the one to put a stop to Thanos (Josh Brolin) and his armies in Avengers: Endgame, but Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) was the closest to put an actual end to the Mad Titan in the film.

While a lot of members of the Avengers got a chance to get into a one-on-one fight with Thanos, Scarlet Witch was the closest to taking away the life of the Mad Titan in Endgame. It's something that Olsen also agrees with as well.

Speaking in an interview with IMDB during the 2019 D23 Expo last, last weekend, Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen addresses Wanda's opportunity to take down Thanos, and according to the Marvel star, she knows that her character could have taken down Thanos all by herself.

"Yeah, he brought out the big guns he didn't even mean to bring out. I was getting him good," Olsen told the news site.

"Hello, someone was angry and had somethin' to say about it. And it was this one right here," she added, pointing to herself.

Wanda was very, very close to killing Thanos. The only way the Mad Titan was able to escape was to command his ships to rain fire on the battlefield, causing a rain of alien weaponry jeopardizing not only the members of the Avengers but his own armies as well.

We're pretty sure that Thanos wouldn't have been able to escape from the hands of Wanda had he not called for rain fire in the film.
