Sabikui Bisco Episode 4 Release Date

Bisco and Pawoo's battle finally reaches a conclusion. Plus, the truth behind the mushrooms is finally revealed. The latest installment of Sabikui Bisco sets up the beginning of Bisco and Milo's journey as partners.

Sabikui Bisco or Rust-Eater Bisco centers on Akaboshi Bisco, a wanted criminal. Set in a post-apocalyptic Japan, Bisco uses his archery skills and physical prowess to grow mushrooms everywhere to lessen the spread of Rust. However, he's considered a criminal since the general public believes that mushrooms cause the Rust's spread.

Captain Pawoo and Bisco continue to fight each other while Jabi receives treatment and a blood transfusion from Milo. While Pawoo and Bisco are fighting, Bisco explains that mushrooms causing the Rust is a lie — it's actually the other way around. Mushrooms consume Rust, and Bisco is contributing to lessening the spread of it by growing mushrooms in the areas they pass by.

Milo asks how Jabi and Bisco are acquainted. Jabi tells him that he's Bisco's mentor. He also explains to Milo the truth behind the mushrooms and how there's a legendary Sabikui (Rust-Eater) mushroom that will greatly help with the Rusting. Meanwhile, Pawoo refuses to believe Bisco's words, still believing he's a criminal. Bisco mentions how their city has a great doctor taking care of them. Pawoo gets angrier since she doesn't know if Bisco did something to Milo. Bisco knocks her out with an arrow and returns to Jabi and Milo.

Bisco tells Milo that the injection can still work on Pawoo's Rusting. Milo injects her, and Jabi reminds them that they don't have much time until the Watch shows up. When Jabi says he'll hold them off, Bisco protests, but Jabi tells him he needs to recover first. Milo tells Bisco that he wants to join him on his search for the Sabikui mushroom. Bisco ends up saying yes, saying that Mushroom Keepers work always work as a duo. The two of them head for the North Gate, where they plan to escape.
