Ryan Reynolds Shares Kinky New Deadpool 2 Poster

Deadpool 2 might have sat out this year's Super Bowl, but that doesn't mean that the Merc with a Mouth's going to quiet down while everyone goes talking about Avengers: Infinity War and Solo: A Star Wars Story's new trailers.

Creating buzz of his own, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds took to twitter to share a brand new poster for the upcoming sequel to the Merc with a Mouth's standalone film. Embodying the Regenerating Degenerate's wit and humor, the poster mixes kink and comedy by recreating the poster of 1983 American romantic drama film, Flashdance. In the image, fans get to see Deadpool arching back against a chair while bullets rain all over his body the same way Jennifer Beals does with a stream of water.

Reynolds even had the Flashdance tagline as his caption, writing, "Take your passion. And make it happen."

Though a poster isn't the same as a Super Bowl trailer, this new image certainly does generate a bit of talk for Deadpool 2. Fans seem to be more than excited for the Deadpool sequel. Reynold's tweet has gotten more than twenty-eight thousand retweeets and more than eighty-five thousand likes within the past 12 hours.

Of course, it wouldn't hurt if Fox decided to drop a new preview of Deadpool 2, but rumor has it that a new trailer's coming out over the next week or two.

Deadpool 2 makes its way to cinemas on May 18, 2018.
