After all of the rumors about the actress who'd play the part of mercenary-turned-X-Man Domino, fans finally have an official name and face to go with as they wait for Deadpool 2.
Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds has finally decided to give up the name of the actress playing the odds-manipulating mercenary in the sequel to 20th Century Fox's 2016 R-Rated superhero hit.
And that name is:
Zazie Beetz, the spunky actress from Donald Glover's Atlanta.
Surprise! Like Rhett Reese said, the top contender wasn't really Hidden Figures' Janelle Monae. This puts an end to all of the reports on the Domino casting and though some may wonder why Beetz was given the role despite her lack of experience in the superhero and action genres, the Deadpool 2 casting team must have been wowed by her audition. All that's left now is a star for Cable.
