20th Century Fox is not missing a beat. In preparation for Deadpool’s February release, the studio showcased its 12th TV spot.

The new spot shows Merc With a Mouth Wade Wilson staying “on top” of things while dangling from the edge of a skyscraper. He’s holding on to some kind of hyperbaric chamber on wheels. Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead are also seen in the Deadpool TV spot making their way towards the X-Mansion's hangar. There’s also a cameo of “X-Men’s” Blackbird jet.

The year 2016 is a monumental year for superhero films. The Deadpool marketing team prepared for the kick-off with some of the best strategies ever seen, showing that the Deadpool is different than previous comic book films with an R-rated superhero and graphic violence. Ryan Reynolds’ character is also the first X-Men film not associated with Wolverine.

Rob Liefeld, who created the character, praised Tim Miller’s take on the character during early screening.

Deadpool is expected to garner $50 million on opening weekend, according to Screen Rant.

Nonetheless, the new TV spot is very intriguing. Seeing Colossus and Warhead entering Cerebro’s sanctuary could mean more footage of Professor X’s School For Gifted Youngsters, although that remains to be seen.

With the Deadpool February 12 premiere looming near, there’s no doubt fans’ expectations will not be disappointed.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
