Russo Brothers Playfully “Reveal” The Title For Avengers 4 At This Year’s SDCC

Marvel might be keeping a close eye on the secrets it's keeping for Avengers 4, but that doesn't mean that director Joe and Anthony Russo can't have a little fun messing around with fans.

Sure the directors might not have been able to attend this year's San Diego Comic-Con, however, according to ComicBook.Com, the Russo Brothers managed to find a way to squeeze in a brief video to troll the fanbase during the convention. Being the producers for the Deadly Class series on SyFy, the directors decided to send a video to fans right to play right before the start of the show's panel at SDCC last Saturday.

The video started with the directorial duo thanking the Deadly Class fans saying that they were both excited about the new series and how faithful it was to the Image Comic series by Wes Craig and Rick Remender. After talking about the upcoming series, the Russo Brothers then decided to apologize for not being able to make it to the panel, explaining that they were still pretty busy working on "a little movie called Avengers – bleep"

Just when fans thought they'd get the official title of the second and final chapter to the Russo's two-part Avengers movie, a loud "bleep" ran right all over the words to censor the title. Dang.

It's a pretty funny joke considering how hyped everyone is for Avengers 4, but some fans at the panel couldn't help but groan in disappointment. It's a long way till May 2019, and everyone's dying to know more about Avengers 4, even if it's just the title. Guess we'll have to wait and put up with the Russos trolling everyone every now and then.

Avengers 4 hits cinemas May 3, 2019.
