There is little doubt that Avengers: Endgame had some of the most amazing fight sequences we've seen in the past year so it's no surprise that the film's cast and stunt team has been recognized. The movie has just been awarded the Outstanding Action Performance By A Stunt Ensemble In A Motion Picture by the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and the Russo brothers have the best reaction.
Joe and Anthony Russo recently took to their official Instagram account to honor the cast and crew of Endgame for the awesome win. Take a look at their post below.
"Huge congrats to our impeccable cast and stunt team on their well earned SAG award," the Russos wrote before adding the hashtag #AvengersEndgame.
We're not exactly surprised that Endgame nabbed the award. After all, the film had some of the most memorable action sequences we've seen in a long time. For instance, there was an awesome fight between the two Captain Americas. In addition to that, the epic final battle was beautifully choreographed although it involved several major players.
But what are the chances that the Russo brothers will direct yet another Marvel Cinematic Universe film? For now, the directors are set on working on completely different projects. For one, they are currently filming Cherry, which will star Endgame actor Tom Holland. The future of the Russos' return to the MCU might not yet be clear but we're hoping to get some good news soon.
