If Stan Lee is the binding glue that brings together the entirety of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple is the one bridging all the Marvel Netflix shows together. Her last appearance was with everyone else in The Defenders, and news has it that Claire will be back for more of the upcoming seasons.
Discussing Film is reporting that Dawson's Night Nurse will be coming back for both follow-ups to Daredevil 2 and Iron Fist. With her appearance in Luke Cage pretty much confirmed, I wonder how they're going to somehow shoehorn Temple into the rest of these shows. If you ask me, her coming along with Danny Rand to China in Iron Fist was a bit of a stretch.
The only Marvel Netflix show that Dawson hasn't appeared in is The Punisher, but it has been confirmed that the showrunners had wanted to place Frank Castle's story apart from everyone else in The Defenders. That's also the same reason why Castle doesn't appear in that show as well.
Though I'm not opposed to seeing more of Dawson in Marvel Netflix, I'm just hopeful that her inclusion comes out naturally and not too forced. As it stands, the only Defender that can't be sexually connected to Claire is Iron Fist, and that's saying something.
Jessica Jones 2 comes out March this year with Daredevil 3 also set to come in 2018. No release date has been announced for follow-ups to Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
