Despite the film being recognized as the most highly-anticipated film of 2016 by Fandango, we only know a few things about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It seems that Disney/Lucasfilm will release more details soon though. Felicity Jones' character name may have been revealed.
Now, thanks to Makingstarwars.net, we might have some info on when the first trailer for Gareth Edwards' standalone Star Wars film will be released.
According to the site, Rogue One's first trailer could be attached to Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, since both Marvel and Lucasfilm are owned by Disney. The company might release the trailer a week before the film's theatrical release, but we'll have to wait and see, as this hasn't been confirmed by Disney.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be released on Dec. 16, 2016.
