Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Olympics TV Spot Features New Footage

This Sunday, we learned that the new trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Storywill be released during the Olympic coverage this Thursday. To hype up the moment that millions of Star Wars fans have been demanding since Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016, a TV spot with new footage was released during the Olympic coverage today. 

The video starts off with several shots of Olympic athletes showing off their skills then cuts to Jyn Ero (Felicity Jones) trying to talk someone into joining her team who will try to steal the plans of the Death Star from the Empire. You'll also see some new shots of the Death Troopers in the TV spot. Check it out: 

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is set to release in theaters on December 16, 2016.
