Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is The Most Anticipated Movie 2016, According To Fandango Poll


There's a lot of exciting movies coming in 2016: Deadpool, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, X-Men: Apocalypse, Finding Dory, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, and Suicide Squad. But none of these films are claimed the most anticipated film of 2016.

Based on Fandango's recent poll, the most anticipated film of 2016 is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The Star Wars spinoff, directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla - 2014) is set before the events of the first Star Wars film. The standalone film will introduce new characters, one of which is rumored to appear in Episode VIII.
