Rocksteady's Superman Game Not Happening?

When a 4Chan post about a rumored Superman game from Rocksteady was revealed, DC fans got very excited for it. Rocksteady redefined Batman video games after they made the Arkham series, so fans are hoping the team can do the same with the Man of Steel. Unfortunately, one of the rumored aspects of the post has been proven false, with many wondering if a game for the character is really coming.

The 4Chan post stated that the game would be the cover of Game Informer for December. While we're still a month away from December, Game Informer executive editor Andrew Reiner told a fan on Twitter that the game will not be featured on the website. It definitely makes the 4Chan post less credible, though one would argue that anything from the site has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Keep in mind that a Superman game from Rocksteady is still possible since the company teased a title that would blow minds. We will just have to see if it will ever come to fruition, but there's no doubt that fans would love to see a new superhero game from the developers.

Fans that want to play as Superman can pick up Injustice 2 since the character is playable there. Those that haven't played the Arkham trilogy can pick up Batman: Arkham Knight and Batman: Return to Arkham on PS4 and Xbox One.
