Rockstar Games Might be Teasing Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of last year's best video games and many of us were surprised when it didn't win Game of the Year during The Game Awards. It did win a number of awards and many still see it as one of the best games Rockstar Games has worked on, even if they did force their employees to overwork themselves. Anyway, enough of that drama, the game has zombies!

That's right, fans have spotted zombies in the game in both single-player and multiplayer. This has made fans think that we'll be getting Red Dead Redemption 2: Undead Nightmare. The first game (technically the second if you count Red Dead Revolver) had an Undead Nightmare expansion that gave us an alternate take on the game's campaign, so seeing Red Dead Redemption 2 do the same would be amazing.

For one thing, it would give fans more time with Arthur Morgan, who sadly passed away at the end of Red Dead Redemption 2. Granted, this would be a different Arthur Morgan if the original Undead Nightmare is anything to go by but Rockstar Games could do something different, like turning Arthur into a zombie. Then again, that would be stretching the limits of the game's grounded reality.

Sorry, just spitballing ideas. Fans would love it if Rockstar Games made another Undead Nightmare expansion, especially if it has more side quests and activities for the players to participate in.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. No release date for Undead Nightmare has been revealed, nor has the expansion/DLC been confirmed.
